Beauty and the Beast

My amazing husband got us season tickets to Gammage for our anniversary, and we got to see the first show Beauty and the Beast this last week, it was so awesome! We ate some dinner at Chili's before the show since it was close and then headed over to hang out before the show started. It was my first broadway play and I loved it! The characters were so dead on and they added stuff from the Disney movie that made it incredible.

The next show we get to see is How the Grinch Stole Christmas, then Shrek, then Fiddler on the Roof, and to top it all off Les Miserables! I can't wait!

Time Out for Women

I know I say this alot but I think time is flying! I am pretty sure that September was two days long this year! Not a whole lot has been happening with us lately, we are just busy with work and Jaron in school (even though his last class for his Bachelor's is tomorrow! yay!)...

Jaron's brother got married at the end of September in Utah! They had a cute country John Deere wedding! Congrats Parker and Cali!

A couple of weeks ago my mom, sister Jen, Tyler, and Carson, Grandma, Carleen, and my dad all came down for the Time Out for Women weekend! IT was a blast! The speakers and music were absolutely amazing! While we were attending the conference, Jaron took my dad, Tyler, and Carson to the Hall of Flame which they said was pretty awesome. They were also able to get some errands done that my dad needed to do in the big city! All Carson could talk about was going to Chuck-E-Cheese's because that was where I took him one time when he was little and had come down to visit. Jen and I took him to Mantuku's Island which is this huge jungle playground, we figured it would be a lot more fun now that he's 'grown up'! He had a blast and I got worn out trying to maneuver through all the tight spaces to play in the big tree they had.... could make it a little more adult friendly! He had a good time even though he still said he liked Chuck-E-Cheese better! (I don't think he remembers it so well...) We had a great weekend and I am going to have to steal some pictures from someone because I didn't take any!

1 Year and Going Strong!

August 28th, 2009 changed my life forever! I married Jaron Edward Foy in the Mesa, AZ temple for time and all eternity, and its been a wonderful year! Jaron and I spent our anniversary in Payson, where we stayed after we got married, at the Majestic Mountain Inn. We also went and ate at Fargo's Steakhouse which is right next door. It was a fun little getaway! And here are the Top Ten Reasons Why I Love Jaron: 1. He has an incredible way of loving me that I never thought possible, I get a little teary-eyed even thinking about it, and he never hesitates to use those three little words!

2. Jaron has made me laugh literally every day since I have known him, and that is huge for me because I love to laugh!
3. He is my handsome stud! He has good taste and always looks nice. (even though I had to make him stop wearing a black belt with brown shoes :>)
4. He has an amazing love and knowledge for the Gospel and he keeps me learning every day.

5. His likes are my likes. We compliment each other in that way and have similar tastes... we can usually always agree on something!

6. He was raised on a farm... That means he knows how to work hard, but also how to play hard!

7. He keeps me #1 no matter what. He is very good at prioritizing whats most important. Me, of course! :>
8. Jaron knows how to set goals and achieve them... He is so dedicated to his school and work, I watch in awe of the things he accomplishes.
9. He is always willing to help and serve others, a guy he home teaches bore his testimony once of how amazing his home teachers were and that they had never missed a month. I was so proud to sit next to him that day!
10. He is just plain amazing! I am going to say that that is in part to his great family! They have made me feel like a part of their family from minute one and they raised a good man that I get to be with forever!

Happy Anniversary Jaron, I love you! Here's to an eternity more! "Grow old with me, the best is yet to be!"

Summer Fun!

So sorry to all of you good bloggers that have something for all of us to read on a daily basis, my blog has sat neglected for some time and if you cared, an update has not come for awhile! This summer has seemed to absolutely fly by! With the humidity at present though, I will gladly say goodbye to the weather! So I guess I am going to update on a couple of things... The 24th of July for starters. We headed up the mountain and had a great time with all the family (minus Dallas...) but it was great to relax and escape the city for awhile! I think we relaxed so much that we didn't go to alot of the festivites... We did make it to the parade and program though which were both awesome.
Oh cute nephews, the good music lulled them all to sleep at the program... It was hilarious because Carson fell asleep and then five minutes later Treyson went, and then a few minutes later Westyn was out! Cute kids, that's what happens when you make them sit still for a few minutes I guess! While we had any bored moments, Dad always came through for entertaining us, this time by squirting water in Trevyn's mouth. He would open his mouth and my dad would squirt and then he would swallow and open his mouth again for another sip! Such a funny baby...Watch out for Jen and her taquito! And just a side note, we can never get Tyler to have a normal face at picture time! The kids got to ride the firetruck with Grandpa, but got off where we were, lucky kids to have a Grandpa with a cool firetruck to ride!I think this was the highlight of the 24th, it was the coolest float ever!Just the two of us! In about a week I will have been married to this man for a year! Yippee! He survived a year with me!

I am an uncoordinated dweeb...

So, I promise the Foy family is around somewhere! I have been really bad about blogging and I will get to posting about stuff like the 24th, but its late and for now I am just gonna tell you this story that I will never live down...

So the other night, we were watching Will Ferrell's best of SNL and the skit came on from "Night at the Roxbury"... so of course we both started head bobbing in a dorky fashion! Well, to my dismay, unfortunately I have always been a little uncoordinated and my head bob looked more like a seizure or me trying to bite my ear... So we decide its time for bed and I go in the bathroom to brush my teeth, AND.. I decide I am going to give this head bob thing another try... So I'm lookin in the mirror and I get about three head bobs in when Jaron walks around the corner! Why does that have to happen? I will now never live this down, I still looked like a retard so of course Jaron laughed his head off at the poor uncoordinated dweeb...

Happenings..

Well we have had a fun couple of weeks with lots of fun going on! Memorial Weekend Jaron, Kelsey and I all headed up to Utah for a family reunion... Although we got caught behind like a mazillion RV's the trip was way fun! We rode 4-wheelers, played a lot of mean games of NERTZ (our new favorite card game, freakin awesome!), toured Bryce Canyon, and of course had a grand ole reunion!
Above: Cute husband!
The twinner sisters that aren't twins.

Oh Tyler, will we ever get you to take a serious picture?

Quite possibly the cutest baby ever! (Em's youngest, Trevyn)

Need I say more? This is my favorite picture of the weekend!

Followed up by this one... My Uncle Danny would kill me if he knew I put this on here! Either there was something else in that Diet Coke that he didn't know about or there was too much family in too little of a space that he couldn't handle, or he just wanted us to be entertained by the snoring! hee hee Love ya Danny!

I love this Grandpa, He's the best!

And I love this Grandma! She made my favorite Macaroni salad cause she knows if she doesn't there might be trouble... haha

Do you like all my commentary? I have noticed thats what I do lately is put a lot of pics on here and then put little blurbs, sorry if thats annoying..

Estrogen heaven... poor dad...

We decided to go tour Bryce Canyon (along with a ton of tourists) we have always gone there to visit family and we have never actually gone into the canyon to see it all, very beautiful place, and best of all Kelsey worked there a summer or two ago, so she was our cute little tour guide!

We had a great time in Utah, its always great to get away and hang out with the fam, Thanks em for the great accomodations (sorry if we used too much t.p.!)

So this last week was my 24th b-day, I actually had to work that day so Jaron surprised me with these amazing flowers, it was awesome! He got me the shelves from Ikea that I wanted as pictured below. He also let me go shopping so I got to buy some clothes and shoes, he took me out to a sweet dinner at Z-Tejas... delicious.. and to top it all off we went and bought a Wii! I'm spoiled! Thanks to everyone for the calls and texts, love ya!

All grown up!

Jaron turned the big 2-5! I'm a little late in posting cause his birthday was May 3rd but better late than never! WE decided to go to St. Johns for the weekend to relax for Jaron's birthday.

This is us in front of our cute little apartment! We had a barbeque at my grandma's house for Jaron, we had some delicious food and this is Jaron's scrumptious cake I made for him... It's funfetti which is his favorite, we actually had it for our wedding cake too!My Grandma has been cleaning out some closets and found this old scrapbook from when she was really young, we had some good laughs at some of the stuff in there, it was awesome to go through and see a little of her growing up years!Jaron with Carleen's new dog, Annie Johannie! She is so cute and loves everybody, I love the look on her face, that must have been a good tummy rub! I also love that she blends in with the carpet.Jaron with all of his presents... He got clothes, shoes, movies, a new power drill, money and cards. Spoiled!
My mom and Jaron and I decided to take a trip to the Snowflake temple so we woke up early and went through, it was cool to be able to go through after the temple had been dedicated especially since I was able to be there for the open house a few years ago... Props to my mom for making it too! The night before we went she realized her recommend had expired and went through quite an ordeal and ended up with a very sore rib trying to renew it! (i'll leave out the details or she might kill me!) And excuse our faces in that picture, maybe the sun was in our eyes or something? Jaron got to relax the weekend away playing video games and reading his favorite book of the moment. He loves World War II history, he always tells me he should have been born so he could fight in that war, I beg to differ...And yes, the day we left it looked like this outside... In May... What the? So much for global warming...and in case you couldn't see that first copy, i put a second one and I cant get it off!
