Thoughts

I have been thinking lately how crazy it is that my life is about to change so drastically. I have thought about all the people before me that have become mothers and how natural it looks and feels. I hope that I am that way. I hope motherhood is something I step into with ease and grace. I'm scared but SO ready. I cannot wait to see this little one and hold him and love him!!

So many exciting and scary changes but the best part is that those changes are for someone that I already love and feel connected to.

On that note.. I can't wait to post these any longer, my wonderful sister in law Amber took my maternity pics.. Love how they turned out! (oh and thank you pinterest for all the great ideas!!)

Closer than we thought!

Well our little man is not so little!! We found out this week that the little chunker is already weighing in at six and a half pounds! So... That being said he will probably make his grand entrance the last week of August instead of September!
I always knew I would be giving birth to a toddler!! I have to say I think he looks just like his Dad...

4th of July

This year our fourth of July was kinda low key.. Jaron and I both had to work so after we were both home we grilled up some hamburgers and had some watermelon! Chandler had fireworks right down the street from our house at tumbleweed park so we parked in the church parking lot and set up our chairs and had a good time just the two of us!!

And of course an update on the baby: i have ten weeks left and probably even less than that if I get induced.. Holy I can't believe we are gonna be parents so soon! Of course growing up you always dream about being a mommy but it is SO crazy that now it is actually happening. We are so excited to meet this little guy and welcome him into our family. His room is all ready for him! Just needs some finishing touches.. How early do you pack your bag for the hospital?? :)

I think I have to brag a little right now cause he is already one cute kid!! We can't wait to meet you baby G!

More than halfway there!

Here we are at 22 weeks! (taken a couple weeks ago on Mother's Day, I am now at 24 weeks and going strong! Everything has gone beautifully so far, except for my very swollen feet at the end of the day... that's not so fun. I get my next ultrasound this week, where they will do a test to make sure his heart is ok. We are working on getting the nursery together, I am excited to see it all come together and have the little man here with us! Now if I can just make it through this summer I will be ok... (if you have a pool, I may be knocking on your door this summer, ours is gone thanks to craigslist, so we can actually landscape now!)

GUESS WHAT? ALL YOU BLOG STALKERS THAT HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS DAY, IT'S HERE!!!! WE CAN'T WAIT!! I AM 13 WEEKS ALONG AND FEELING GREAT! I HAVE HAD NO NAUSEA/VOMITING OR ANYTHING... I GUESS I AM A SUPER LUCKY GIRL. I AM JUST TIRED AND JARON WILL TELL YOU RATHER CRANKY! I HAVE TO BE WATCHED PRETTY CAREFULLY SINCE I AM DIABETIC, SO I SEE THE DOCTOR ABOUT EVERY TWO WEEKS AND HAVE HAD 5 ULTRASOUNDS ALREADY! IT HAS BEEN FUN TO SEE THIS LITTLE ONE GROW! ONLY A COUPLE MORE WEEKS UNTIL WE FIND WHAT HE OR SHE IS!!!
