5 months

I'm behind once again but wanted to make sure I got this documented!

Little man turned 5 months-- (and is actually about to turn 6 months since I'm behind) and we just love him more and more every month!

He is really starting to move out of "newborn/ infant stage and is just our handsome baby! Garrison definitely wants to be into everything- he is constantly grabbing at whatever you have at that moment in your hand.

- he loves books and being read to
- he rolled over for the first time on 1/26
- has the cutest giggles I have ever heard and is ticklish under his chin and arms and back
- loves his standing bouncer and will stay entertained for quite awhile!
- started rice cereal and has now tried peas which he liked
- still waking up a couple times a night to eat ( much to the sadness of his workin mama!)

Oh mr. G man how you have made our lives amazing! We love you little sweetheart!

My 4 month-er!!

I'm late posting this again but Garrison turned 4 months way back on the 30th of December.. Now he is already almost 5 months! Yikes this goes too fast!!

Garrison is such a sweet little man but oh so picky about just about everything! He has certain ways that he eats sleeps and plays,but once you have it figured out your set!

He did eat rice cereal once the other day and did great with it! He has found out he has feet and loves to play with them. He always has a binkie or his hands in his mouth. He likes watching TV. He is grabbing at everything and loves pulling moms hair. He hasn't quite mastered rolling over yet but almost... He loves his bouncer and standing up like a big boy!! Love you Garrison!

Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! My parents just bought a new house in St. John's. Kelsey, Garrison and I came up Saturday morning cause Jaron had to work Christmas Eve.. (Poor guy)

We got here and got to work! Emilee and I (with some good assistants) painted the pantry and the master bathroom. My parents house was so fun and has come together so nice! Love it!

We had our traditional Mexican food dinner Christmas Eve and had a little program with the kids sharing talents and then of course opened our pajamas!

Santa was good to us this year! Garrison got a John Deere ride on tractor and some other toys. Jaron got a picture he has been wanting, a gun cleaning kit, and some other fun stuff. I got a sewing machine and fabric cutter and mat, and jaron surprised me with a baby monitor!

3 months!!

It's true! Mr. Garrison is three months old already! We sure love this boy more and more every day!

He is smiling tons and can 'talk' your ear off if he is in the mood!
He is a great eater and is getting the hang of a bottle (since mommy had to go back to work :(...)
He is very picky about the way he wants
to be held and he will let you know if its not right!
He is working on rolling over, but hasn't quite got the hang of it.
He is currently 15 pounds 12 ounces (95 th percentile) and 24 1/2 inches long (90th percentile).

We just love this little man to pieces! We seriously couldn't ask for a better baby!

No place like home!

So excited for my parents who just bought a house!! I think it's going to seem weird not to drive up the airport road to home when we go to St. John's.

Their new house is across from the park, and they are going to have a TON of space! 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, love it! Congrats mom and dad!

Blessing Day!

Garrison was blessed this last Sunday, and if you live in Arizona you know it was stake conference. Yeah none of us (Jaron, me, or the bishopric) realized it was that day when we had talked about it a few Sundays before. Since hotels and flights had been booked we decided to bless Garrison at home. It ended up working out beautifully and it was a wonderful day! He looked so cute in his little outfit and even had a beautiful blanket that my mom crocheted.

Jarons parents, my parents, Grandma Shreeve, Aunt Carleen, Kelsey, Derek and Amber, Brother Butcher from the bishopric, Chris and Stacia Flake, and Jeremy and Jenn Reeder were all able to attend. We were even able to FaceTime my other two sisters who couldn't come so they could here too!

Jaron gave Garrison such a sweet blessing, of course I cried through the whole thing..

Afterwards we had a little brunch and then got to hang out with the family the rest of the day. It was so fun! I can't believe this little boy is growing up so fast!

An apple a day..

Garrison had his 2 month check up on Thursday and he got a clean bill of health! ;)

I think we have an NFL line backer on our hands though... His stats are:

Weight; 15 pounds (above the 95th percentile)
Height: 24 1/2 inches (90th percentile)
Head circumference I don't remember but it's in the 60th percentile.

I am so glad he is strong and healthy and glad he is taking some of my rolls away, they look a lot cuter on him!!
