Well, 2009 was quite a year for Jaron and I as well as our families. We feel so blessed for all the great things that have come our way this year.Jaron started school at the University of Phoenix to get his Bachelor's in Psychology. He will eventually get his Master's in Secondary Education so he can teach high school and coach football, his real love! He is doing well at work, which is also with UOP and I am very proud of all his accomplishments.
In May, I graduated from Mesa Community College with my degree in Nursing and passed my state boards in June so I am now an RN! A long road, but certainly worth the wait!
Our biggest accomplishment this year was that we tied the knot! Jaron and I were married August 28th, 2009 in the Mesa, AZ temple! What a blessing that was and has been to be married and sealed for time and eternity. Our wedding could not have gone any smoother, it was a wonderful experience, I would love to get married once a year just to remember all the excitement! We were able to Honeymoon on a cruise to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and we had a blast!

In October, I started working for a travel nursing company and spent October, November, and December working as a substitute school nurse for 4th-6th graders, what a learning experience! Kids are so dang funny, I have some good memories from working there.
The holidays treated us well, we spent Thanksgiving in St. Johns and Christmas in Utah with Jaron's family. We left the weekend before Christmas for Utah and had a nice long week to relax and be with family! We went to a ton of movies, did a session in the Salt Lake temple, rode the new Frontrunner to the temple, had layovers in our travels in LA, Denver, and San Francisco, went to Jaron's favorite "buddy hangout" Iggy's with his two best friends and their wives, and froze our rears off! Here's some pics:

Hope everyone's year was wonderful, we are looking forward to the things 2010 has in store for us!
