Happy Birthday to ME!

I finally did it... turned 22! haha what does that mean you ask? I have no idea, 22 is kind of an age where nothing really happens, like when you turn 16 and get your drivers license and 18 when you are an "adult" and then 21 you could drink or gamble if you wanted to... but 22 the numbers just match! haha

Despite all that I had a really great birthday that actually got celebrated all week! Jaron and I went to St. Johns for the weekend before my birthday and helped my parents with yard work all day, funny story, I was bending over a lot and planting flowers and pulling weeds and it was pretty hot all day, well apparently I need to start getting higher waisted pants, longer shirts or put sunscreen over the area above my butt crack cause it got fried! Embarrassing but true! It was cool to work in the yard though cause we don't get to do that down here. Sunday we had a bbq and Jaron made some amazing steaks and my mom made her famous peach pie for my birthday cake, I wish we could have stayed longer cause it was a really fun weekend!

My actual birthday I went shopping with my birthday money and then I started training at Applebee's so I had to work from 4-11:30. Since I had to work, Jaron took me to Indiana Jones and my favorite Mexican food, Serrano's on Thursday, it was really fun too! Life is fun just gettin settled into summer and all the heat! Hope everybody is well!

Graduations! Congratulations!

So this last week I got to go to Utah and see Westyn and Kelsey graduate! Westyn graduated from Pre-school on Wednesday and their teacher got them little paper graduation caps and they wouldn't stay on so they put a piece of tape and taped them to all their little heads... Well, Westyn didn't like that one bit and when he sat down he threw off his hat and would not sing or have anything to do with the graduation! It was funny, we were all in the bleachers trying to bribe him with anything so he would sing, but he wasn't havin it!
This is Kelsey's Graduating Class of 2008! (All 18 of them!)

Kelsey graduated on Friday from Escalante High School, yep she had to follow in Jen's footsteps... ha They had an awesome graduation, I did the slide show (after lots of frustration and running all over the place we managed to get it done!) It was an awesome week with the family, I feel like I have missed so much stuff being in school and in school in Arizona, I have to admit I get a little jealous that all my sisters get to live so close to each other, but maybe one day we will all be close!
Wasn't it like yesterday when she was this young and couldn't talk back? Those were the days! haha

I got a job at Applebee's as a waitress for the summer, I start that on Monday and hopefully it will pay the bills! My manager is Jaime Hammond's best friend so its nice that I had some connections! Other than that everything is good! Hope everything is going well for you all!

Long Awaited Post...

Yeah its been awhile... Life has been crazy but its finally starting to slow down a little! Jaron got a job at the University of Phoenix as a qualifying specialist (sounds cool and official) Hello Cubicle! ha ha We also found an apartment for him on Mill and Kyrene, about ten minutes from work for him and close to school for me when I move in. Life is happy and we are trying to get everything all settled! Jaron's parents are coming down this weekend to bring the rest of his stuff from Utah and my parents are coming to visit and meet his parents so I'm excited!

I took my final today and its official (after I get my grade) that I'm 1/2 a nurse! Yay! This year has flown by and its crazy and scary that I could be helping deliver all of your pregnant people's next kids! (not that you would want that, but I'm just saying!)

Jaron's birthday was on the 3rd of May and I woke up and made him breakfast and then took him to the golfing range, I ended up hitting a few after he taught me how and I have paid for it ever since! I didn't overly exert myself but just used muscles I didn't know I had... I feel really out of shape! We went to dinner that night and then Danielle and her fiancee Brodie met us and we went to Jesterz for a good night of laughs! It was really fun!

No, we still haven't set a date yet, we are thinking July 26th, it will definitely be in the St. George temple so hopefully details will follow soon! I love ya'll and hope your doing well!

YAY!

Well, we have really been trying to get Jaron a job down here, and he gets on Jobing.com like every night and posts like thirty resumes to different places and every time someone would call him he would tell them he lives in Utah and they say they can't help him until he is in Arizona, well hello, it would be nice to have a job BEFORE you move! It wasn;t workin, so he decided to put in his two weeks notice and just come! So his last day is April 10th and I am flying up so we can drive down and spend some time with my family in Utah and then we will make the big drive to the Valley! Yay, it will be so nice to finally have him here! We were talkin the other day and Jaron was like, "Won't it be nice when we can call each other up and be like 'hey come over!' and we can actually do it!'" Pretty crazy.. it has been a long, hard road(and one that has been traveled a lot!) I hope we can find him a job quickly, anyone that has connections, they are welcome! Thanks Kam for taking his Resume to UOP!

Hey everyone, sorry I didn't give a lot of details! oh my gosh, life has been so crazy! Me and Jaron haven't set a date yet, sometime this summer for sure because the first thing we have to get out of the way is getting him a job and moving him to the valley! As far as the ring, I don't actually have the real thing yet, I told him to get a Wal-Mart special til we had the money to get the real thing, so as soon as I get it, I will let ya know! Here are a few better pictures! I love ya ALL!

Foy~Party of Two!

Ok, sorry people my internet hasn't been working, I really didn't fall off the face of the earth! Well..Yep thats right... I'm engaged! Jaron came down last Friday and we headed up to St. Johns Saturday so Jaron could meet my parents... Monday I took him up to South Fork near Round Valley because its one of my favorite spots in the whole white mountains! Then we headed over to Show Low and watched Vantage Point(good movie!). Monday night my mom asked Jaron to give the Family Home Evening lesson so he did a lesson on faith and at the end he talked about having faith in the direction our relationship was going and he asked my parents if he could marry me! So now that that was out of the way I knew a proposal was coming but I had no idea how he was going to do it.... Tuesday night Jaron said he wanted to go see the football field at the high school cause he wants to be a football coach, so we took a little trip down to the field and he took me on the fifty yard line and he said that you could tell if the grass was good by how it looked there (yeah i was like what is he talking about!) so he knelt down and he's picking at the grass and I'm sitting there thinking 'this guy is loony!' But, he flipped around on his knee and gave me the ole mushy love sschpeel and asked if I would marry him and I said YES! (without crying thank you very much!) Sorry to everyone who called, I wasn't trying to be a jerk but he was only here for a week and I wanted to spend as much time with him as I could, so I will try to return all your calls! Here are our engagement pictures, Danielle took them and they turned out awesome! These are kinda some dorky ones but the ones we are using are amazing! Thanks Danielle, love ya!

I love babies!

I got to do my first rotation in the OB department in the hospital on Friday. I was shadowing an awesome nurse and she taught me alot! We started out the day meeting all the moms and doing assessments on the new babies, I love hearing their little hearts beat! All the moms were so cute thank goodness cause I know I am going to have a hard time with the moms that really never wanted to have kids and you know they are not going to be very good mothers when they get home... But overall it was an amazing experience, it made me so excited for all of you that are having babies this year! Congratulations!
